Persepsi Guru Sekolah Dasar Terhadap Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis STEM melalui Kegiatan STEM Camp
Abstract
Pengetahuan guru SD akan pembelajaran STEM sangatlah penting sebelum mengintegrasikannya di kelas. Namun nyatanya, pengintegrasian STEM di Indonesia masih jauh dari harapan. Melalui kegiatan STEM Camp yang diadakan oleh SEAQiM, diharapkan pengetahuan dan persepsi guru tentang STEM semakin baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru sekolah dasar terhadap pembelajaran matematika melalui kegiatan STEM Camp. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 9 responden dengan pengalaman mengajar kurang dari 6 tahun dan diatas 6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum STEM Camp, responden dengan pengalaman mengajar dibawah 6 tahun sudah mengenal apa itu pembelajaran berbasis STEM, namun belum mendalam. Sedangkan responden dengan pengalaman mengajar diatas 6 tahun, 3 responden ada yang sudah mengenal dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran STEM di kelas, sedangkan 3 lainnya belum mengenal dan mengimplementasikan STEM.
