Announcements

We're moving to a new website

Dear researchers,
We are excited to announce that the English Teaching Journal (ETERNAL) journal has successfully transitioned to a new website! Previously hosted at https://journal.upgris.ac.id/index.php/eternal/index using OJS 2, ETERNAL will now be available at https://journal2.upgris.ac.id/index.php/eternal using OJS 3.
This migration marks a significant upgrade to our journal platform, bringing enhanced functionality, a more user-friendly interface, and improved features that will benefit both authors and readers. We are confident that this transition will enrich the overall experience of engaging with our journal and further our mission to disseminate cutting-edge research in the fields of English language teaching and learnings, linguistics, and English literature teaching.

Important Update on Submissions:
- The August 2023 issue (Vol 14, No. 2) will still be published on our old website using OJS 2 and will be the last issue available on this platform.
- For submissions intended for the February 2024 issue (Vol 15, No. 1) and beyond, authors are requested to submit their manuscripts on our new website using OJS 3.
ETERNAL remains dedicated to providing a global platform for researchers and academicians to share and discuss the latest advancements and developments in their respective fields. We look forward to your continued support and contributions as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

We appreciate your understanding and are delighted to share this positive development with you.

Important Announcement: ETERNAL Achieves SINTA3 Accreditation Status

Dear Researchers and Authors,
We are delighted to share the news that English Teaching Journal (ETERNAL) has attained the esteemed SINTA 3 accreditation status, in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 79/E/KPT/2023 dated 11 May 2023.
In light of this significant accomplishment, we wish to inform you of the following policy adjustments:

1. Article Processing Charge (APC):
To support the publication process, each accepted paper will incur a fee of IDR 600,000 (USD 37,5). We highly value collaborative efforts and discourage single-author papers. However, if a manuscript with a single author is submitted, the fee will be 700 IDR (USD 43,84).

2. APC Discount for Non-Indonesian Corresponding Authors:
We are pleased to offer a 50% discount on the APC for papers where the co- author is affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia. This discount applies to the standard APC fee and additional page charges. Authors with Indonesian affiliations are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to promote international collaboration.
These adjustments are implemented to ensure the sustainability of our publication process and maintain the high standards associated with SINTA 3 accreditation. We kindly urge all authors to review these changes thoroughly before submitting their manuscripts.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We eagerly anticipate receiving your valuable research contributions and upholding ETERNAL's reputation as a premier platform for scientific publication.
Best regards,
ETERNAL Editorial Board
