RE – DESIGN BREAKWATER PELABUHAN KARTINI JEPARA
Abstract
This study aims to re – design the breakwater in the Kartini port of Jepara, which was originally a cube into a tetrapod shape so that the port pool becomes stable again. This data collection is done in a secondary way by requesting data from related agencies in order to launch this research. Secondary data used include wind data, currents, waves, tides and bathimetric maps. From the calculation of the data, it is obtained that the breakwater peak elevation is 7 m, the breakwater peak width is 3 m at the head and 2.54 m at the arm. For the unit weight of the breakwater protection layer of the head of W = 2.03 tonnes for the tetrapod, W/ 10 = 0.382 tonnes, W/ 200 = 0.019 tonnes for crushed rock. While for the arm the amount of W = 3.059 tonnes for the tetrapod, W/10 = 0.3059 tonnes, W/200 = 0.0153 tonnes for crushed stone. for the number of layers of protection per 10 m2 as many as 12 points on the head and 15 points on the arms.
