PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN AKURASI FOREHAND DAN BACKHAND TENIS MEJA BERBASIS SENSOR
Abstract
This research aims to determine the feasibility of forehand accuracy and table tennis backhand exercise aids based on Table Marking Instruments. In its use table marking instruments still use a manual system in the process of training accuracy forehand and backhand, as well as the absence of training aids with a multifunctional system that can be used in the practice of forehand accuracy and backhand in the sport of table tennis. Therefore, researchers developed a modified ball box tool from a table marking instrument as an exercise tool to improve the accuracy of forehand and backhand in table tennis.This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D).This research was conducted with several steps, namely: (1) Potential problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Product trial, (7) Product revision, (8) Use trial. The development of ball box tools for practice improves the accuracy of forehands and backhands first validated by material experts, media experts, and 8 players for small-scale trials and 16 players for large-scale trials.The subject of this study was PTM Gris Semarang. Data collection techniques used in this study using instruments in the form of questionnaires. Technical analysis of this research data is a descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative percentage. (9 pt) Thus, the conclusion of the results of research and discussion on the development of media products ball box tools for exercises to improve the accuracy of forehand and backhand in participants PTM Gris Semarang then can be obtained some conclusions as follows: 1) Has produced a product training aids to improve the accuracy of forehand and backhand with the name Ball Box. 2) The results of this study show that the ball box tool is very feasible to be used as a table tennis exercise aid. The result is obtained from the last validation result a) material experts by 93% or very feasible; b) media experts by 95% or very decent; c) field trial athletes of 90.31% or very decent. Suggestions for further researchers should be the development of ball boxes adapted to the main functions of table marking instruments and conducted trials with more respondents.
