1. Manuscript Submission

All research articles should follow LPT’s submission process described below:

Your submission must consist of:

1. Cover letter

3. Blind Manuscript

Submitted manuscript should be organized as follows:

  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review/Theoretical Framework
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Acknowledgments
  • References

Style and Format

LPT editors ask you to adjust your manuscript to meet the journal-specific formatting guidelines after the final revision.

File format

Please submit the manuscript file in DOC, DOCX format.

Word Count

LPT accepts manuscripts limited to 12.000 words, including text, references, tables, and figures.

Font

LPT accepts Garamond 12 for format-free submission.

Layout and spacing

Prepare your manuscript text as 1.15-spaced.

Page and line numbers

Please, include page numbers and line numbers in the manuscript file.

Language

Since submission 2026, manuscripts must be submitted only in English. Please do not submit the Indonesian version.

Reference style

LPT uses the APA style. For more information, please follow: APA website. Authors are recommended to use Mendeley or Zotero Reference Software.

Equations

LPT recommends Microsoft Word Equation Editor (Microsoft’s Insert - Equation). Please do not insert images for equations. Equations should be numbered as (1), (2) … etc, appearing to their right. Estimation results from a software package are not to be presented directly in the paper. They should be presented in summary tables.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Rights

Authors can:

  • identify reviewers to whom their studies should not be sent due to conflict of interest and/or other ethical reasons,
  • withdraw their unpublished study during the review process,
  • object to reviewer reports and editor decisions,
  • request an erratum for factual errors or problematic areas in the published study to be included in the first possible issue.
