Focus and Scope
IJES focuses on the field of education in general, which includes: Learning Innovation in Primary Education, Learning Media in Primary Schools, Social Studies Education in Primary Schools, Social Studies Learning in Primary Schools, Sports Education in Primary Schools, Language Education in Primary Schools, Indonesian Language Education in elementary schools, English language education in elementary schools, inclusive education in elementary schools, differentiated learning in elementary schools, Learning Innovation, Learning Media Development, Learning Models, Assessment Instruments, and Curriculum studies.

Peer Review Process
IJES applies a single blind review technique in the article review process. Every incoming article will be checked with Turnitin software. Articles that are indicated as plagiarism will be rejected, while articles that pass will be forwarded for the review process. The editorial team determines whether or not a revised article is accepted based on the reviewer's considerations. All articles submitted to IJES must first comply with the article template. All processes can be monitored via OJS and notifications in the author's email.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Plagiarism Screening
The IJES Journal is a Research Journal in the Field of Elementary School Education. The Editorial Board will ensure that each article published will not exceed a similarity score of 25%. Plagiarism screening will be carried out by the IJES Editorial Board using Turnitin Similarity Check.
Publication Ethics
IJES contains research articles, findings, ideas and scientific studies related to the field of education. Therefore, IJES has formulated publication ethics that publishers, editors, reviewers and authors must adhere to.
Publisher's Responsibilities
- IJES is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, as well as editorial independence.
- IJES is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their duties.
- IJES as a scientific journal publisher publishes articles that have gone through the editing, peer review and layout processes in accordance with the regulations for publishing scientific journals.
Editorial Responsibilities
- The IJES editorial team is responsible for determining the suitability of articles for publication in the journal, while still paying attention to legal provisions regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
- The confidentiality of any information in submitted papers or articles is always maintained by the Editor and the editorial team, except with permission from the author.
- The editors make decisions that are fair and free from commercially biased considerations and ensure fairness consistent with the peer-review process.
- Differences in race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality or political ideology of an author must not influence the editor's decision either in the review process or decision making in publishing the article.
- The editors may not use unpublished papers for scholarly activities, conducted by the editor, without written permission from the author. Confidential information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
Author's Responsibilities
- Authors are responsible for writing papers or articles ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
- Authors are responsible for following publication requirements, namely originality, non-plagiarism, and has never been published in a journal or other publication.
- Authors are responsible for presenting articles resulting from his thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without plagiarism or data manipulation.
- Authors are responsible for the confirmation sent for the articles they write.
- Authors are responsible for indicating references to the opinions and works of others cited
- Authors may not submit/publish the same article to more than one journal or other form of publication.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are tasked with assisting editors in making editorial decisions regarding the suitability of papers/articles to be published:
- Reviewers must examine the paper objectively and use argumentative clarity.
- Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of article author information and not for personal gain.
- Reviewers are responsible for quotations, references and plagiarism in the articles they review.
- Reviewers are responsible for recommendations for the articles reviewed.
