Peer Review Process

Articles received will be reviewed by two reviewers in a closed manner (double blind reviewer).

  1. Information regarding the manuscript submitted by the author must be kept confidential and treated as confidential information.
  2. Manuscript reviewers must ensure that authors have acknowledged all data sources used in this research. Any type of similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration or with other published papers of which the reviewer has personal knowledge should be immediately brought to the editor's notice.
  3. Review of submitted manuscripts must be carried out objectively and reviewers must express their views clearly with supporting arguments. In case the reviewer feels it is impossible for him/her to complete the review of the manuscript within the specified time then this information must be communicated to the editor, so that the manuscript can be sent to the reviewers. other.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Publication Ethics

Publication Ethics

This statement of the scientific code of ethics is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely the manager, editor, bestari partners and authors. This statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, which in essence, the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, namely being free from conflicts of interest in managing publications. ; (ii) Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled to be authors; and (iii) Honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Duties and Responsibilities of Journal Manager

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation when needed.
  2. Determine the membership of the editorial board.
  3. Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, publishers and other parties in a contract.
  4. Respect things that are confidential, both for contributors, writers, editors and bestari partners.
  5. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Review journal policies and convey them to the author, editorial board, review partners, and readers.
  7. Create code of conduct guidelines for editors and review partners.
  8. Publish journals regularly.
  9. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publication.
  10. Building cooperation and marketing networks.
  11. Prepare permits and other legal aspects.

Editor's Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Meeting the needs of readers and writers,
  2. Striving to continuously improve the quality of publications,
  3. Implement processes to ensure the quality of published written work,
  4. Prioritizing freedom of opinion objectively,
  5. Maintaining the integrity of the author's academic track record,
  6. Deliver corrections, clarifications, withdrawals and apologies if necessary,
  7. Responsible for the style and format of the written work, while the content and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author,
  8. Actively solicit the opinions of writers, readers, bestari partners, and editorial board members to improve the quality of publications,
  9. Encourage an assessment of the journal if there are findings,
  10. Support initiatives to reduce research errors in the fields of education and publication by asking authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form that has been approved by the Ethical Clearance Commission,
  11. Supporting initiatives to educate staff about publication ethics,
  12. Examining the effect of publication policies on the attitudes of authors and bestari partners and improving them to increase responsibility and minimize errors,
  13. Having an open mind to new opinions or other people's views that may conflict with personal opinions,
  14. Not defending one's own, the author's or a third party's opinion which may result in an unobjective decision,
  15. Encourage writers to improve their written work until it is suitable for publication.

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners

  1. Receive an assignment from the editor to review written work and submit the results of the review to the editor, as material for determining the suitability of a written work for publication.
  2. Reviewers may not carry out reviews of written works that involve themselves, either directly or indirectly 
  3. Maintain the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input and recommendations
  4. Encourage writers to make improvements to written work
  5. Review written work that has been corrected according to predetermined standards.
  6. Written works are reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, legality of the author, conclusions, etc.).

Author Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that those included in the list of authors meet the criteria as authors.
  2. Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article including methods, analysis, calculations and details.
  3. State the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly.
  4. Explain the limitations in research in the field of education.
  5. Respond to comments made by Bestari partners in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Inform the editor if you will withdraw your written work.
  7. Make a statement that the written work submitted for publication is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.

Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be checked for plagiarism via Turnitin.
