Literasi (Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar) is a journal that facilitates writing about concepts, studies and applications of theory, practical writing and research results and teaching in the field of basic education knowledge.
We welcome a range of subjects, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches in such areas of current analysis in:
- first, second, foreign, or indigenous teaching and learning;
- learning and evaluation;
- curriculum development and implementation;
- methods for teaching;
- elementary education
- gender and equality in education
- elementary teaching and learning

Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process Literasi (Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar) is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of review process. Literasi review guidelines: Stage 1: Upon receipt of your submission in Literasi, the editorial teams will review your article to see if it meets the journal's criteria for publication. The paper might be rejected outright by the editor, but if it passes this step, it will go through the next one, which is peer review.
Stage 2: In stage 2, the manuscript is in peer review process. The manuscripts will be evaluated by two qualified peer reviewers. The peer reviewers should examine the manuscript and return it with their recommendation to the Editor in Chief through Managing Editor as soon as possible, usually within 2-4 weeks. The Editor in Chief or Managing Editor send acceptance or rejection of the paper.
Stage 3: In stage 3, papers needing revision will be returned to the authors, and the author must return the revised manuscript through Open Journal System (OJS). Authors may be asked to make further revisions or the paper may be rejected if the editor thinks that the revisions you have made are not adequate. The Editors’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into concerning manuscripts considered unsuitable for publication in this journal. All correspondence, including notification of the Editors’ decision and requests for revisions, will be sent by email.

LITERASI (Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar) is a journal that strives to be a leading platform for peer-review and a reliable source of knowledge. We disseminate unique research papers, critiques, and case studies on foreign languages and related subjects that have not yet been published in any language or are not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. This following statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines.
