Author Guidelines

Articles should be written in Microsoft Word in A4 paper size, is typed in one 1.5 line space using Times New Roman size 12 in a single column. The length of the manuscript is approximately 5000-7000 words including abstract, figures, tables and references.

All links to referencing software should be removed to prevent errors in the layout design.

 

Title and heading

-        The title should be in stated in 10-15 words.

-        Include the full name of the author(s) without academic degrees

-        Name of their faculty  or study program

-        Name of University / Institute / School / College etc.

-        E-mail address of the correspondence author.

 

Abstract

Self-explanatory summary of research results in one paragraph of not more than 200 words written in Times New Roman size 12pt, single line space. Abstract should contain the background, research problems, research objectives, research methods, results and conclusion. Keywords should be placed below the abstract consisting of five (5) keywords or phrases.

 

Introduction

Contains preamble of research that has a proportion of 25% or about four (4) pages of the total manuscript. Contains background problems, research problems, problems (problems) research, clear literature review, and research objectives.

Research Method

This research foundation or research rule has a proportion of 12% or about two (2) pages of the total manuscript. Include research paradigms, types of studies conducted, data collection techniques and data analysis.

 

Results and Analysis

The essence of this research finding has a proportion of 38% or about seven (7) pages of the total manuscript. Express research findings clearly, containing tables, graphics, and images that are interpreted and elaborated with relevant literature.

 

Conclusion

The final part of this research report has a proportion of 7% or about one (1) page of the total manuscript. Conclude research that has the ability to represent the main findings and have meaningful recommendations.

 

References

The final part of this research report has a proportion of 12% or about two (2) pages of the total manuscript. Reflect the adequacy and novelty of reference literature by prioritizing scientific journals (80%) as a foothold of a minimum of 12 citations.

Reference and citation must follow the APA 7th Reference Style.

 

Language and spelling

  • Linc-Ed: Linguistics and Education Journal accepts article written in English.
  • Both British and American spelling and numbering format are acceptable as long as they are used consistently in each article.
  • Author(s) ensure that the grammar, spelling, coherence, and overall content of the article have been double checked to ensure that no errors are found.
Please note that the submission will be returned to you after an initial review by an editor if the standard of written English is not of a suitable quality.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
