Penerapan Teknologi RFID dalam Sistem Presensi Siswa: Inovasi Digital untuk SMAS Wiyata Dharma Medan

Abstract


SMAS Wiyata Dharma Medan masih menggunakan sistem presensi manual yang menyebabkan keterlambatan pelaporan, risiko kehilangan data, dan rendahnya keterlibatan orang tua. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem presensi digital berbasis Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) yang mencatat kehadiran secara otomatis dan memberikan akses real-time kepada pihak terkait. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan aplikasi mobile dan dashboard web, pelatihan, serta evaluasi sistem. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan sistem berjalan dengan baik, ditandai dengan 89,5% siswa menyatakan aplikasi mudah digunakan dan 88% menyatakan perangkat responsif. Notifikasi kehadiran otomatis diterima oleh orang tua, dan data dapat diakses melalui dashboard web. Sistem ini terbukti mengurangi beban administratif guru, meningkatkan akurasi data, dan memperkuat komunikasi sekolah dengan orang tua. Evaluasi juga memberi masukan terkait pengembangan antarmuka dan kompatibilitas dengan iOS.
