PENGARUH PENGEMBANGAN KEPROFESIAN BERKELANJUTAN (PKB) DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SD DI KECAMATAN PUCAKWANGI KABUPATEN PATI

Abstract


The problems in this research are: 1) is there any influence of Continuing Professional Development on the performance of elementary school teacher in Pucakwangi Sub-district of Pati Regency?; 2) is there any influence of teacher work motivation on performance of elementary school teacher in Pucakwangi Sub-district of Pati Regency?; 3) is there any influence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and teacher work motivation to the performance of elementary school teacher in Pucakwangi Sub-district of Pati Regency?.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of: 1) the Continuing Professional Development; 2) teacher work motivation; 3) the Continuing Professional Development and teacher work motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers. The population in this study are all teachers and principals who teach at public elementary school in Pucakwangi Sub-district Pati Regency. Large population is 147 people. Determination of sample size using Slovin formula, population of 254 samples to be taken as many as 147 teachers. Sampling method used is Proportional Random Sampling. Data collection method in this research is questionnaire method. Data analysis used is test requirement and hypothesis test include liniarity test, autocorrelation test, simple regression analysis to know the effect of professional development on teacher performance, to know the influence of teacher work motivation on teacher performance and multiple regression analysis to know the effect of continuing professional development and work motivation Teachers on the performance of teachers together. To analyze the data used SPSS program facilities.

From hypothesis test found: 1) positive influence of continuous profession development to teacher performance with correlation equal to 0,506 and contribution 25,6 %; 2) there is a positive influence of teacher work motivation on teacher performance with correlation of 0647 with contribution of 41,9%; 3) positive influence of continuous profession development and teacher work motivation together on teacher performance that is with correlation of 0,689 with contribution 47,5%.

In relation to the still weak indicators of continuing professional development that is mentoring activities should the principal and the Office of Education and related institutions provide motivation to teachers to continuously improve the development of continuous profession through programs that have been held by the government such as mentoring activities in UKG (Teachers Competency Test).
