Focus and Scope

Jurnal Teknik Mesin UPGRIS NISSIN:  This journal is under publishment of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Universitas PGRI Semarang. It is a scientific journal focusing on Energy, Manufacturing, Material, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics and Software Simulation. It provides a publishing platform for scientists and academicians to share, publish, and discuss all aspects of the latest outstanding development in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

It encompasses the engineering of energy, mechanical, materials, manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics and software simulation but it is not limited to scopes. Those are allowed to discuss on the following scope:

• Energy: Energy Conversion, Energy Conservation, Renewable Energy, Energy Technology, Energy Management, Energy Review, Biogas, Pyrolysis, Gasification, Nuclear Energy, Energy Potentials, Waste to Energy. 

• Material: Material Science, Ceramic, Composite, Polymer,  Micro and Nano Engineering, Powder Metallurgy, Natural Resources.

• Mechanical: Applied Mechanics, Automotive, Tribology, Biomechanics, Dynamic and Vibration, Mechanical System Design.
  
  

• Mechatronics: Modeling, identification and control of mechatronic systems; motion and vibration control; micro/nano systems and devices; automotive systems; biomedical mechatronic systems; and advanced manufacturing equipment and processes.
  
  

• Robotics: Modeling, control, learning and system issues related to: autonomous vehicles and robots, legged robots, soft robots, field robots, industrial robots, medical robots; human-robot interaction; teleoperation; haptics; and multi-robot systems.
  
  
• Software Simulation: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Method (FEM).

Peer Review Process

The research article submitted to Jurnal NISSIN will be blind peer-reviewed. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal blind peer-reviewing process. The language used in this journal is the Indonesia language and the English language.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal NISIN is a periodical scientific journal published by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) twice a year in April and Oktober.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
