E-Dimas: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat was established by the Institute for Research and Community Service of Universitas PGRI Semarang. The establishment of this journal was motivated by the lack of journals that accommodate the results of community service carried out by lecturers. On September 10, 2010, it submitted a print ISSN and came out on September 30, 2010, with the ISSN number 2087-3565 (print). The online ISSN was submitted on July 29, 2016, and obtained on August 18, 2016, with the number 2528-5041 (online). On December 8, 2017, the E-Dimas: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat began to be indexed in DOAJ. On December 10, 2018, the E-Dimas: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat was accredited with a rank of 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education with No. SK: 34/E/KPT/2018. Accreditation is valid for Volume 8 Number 1 of 2017 to Volume 12 Number 2 of 2021. Starting in 2020, the publication frequency of the E-Dimas: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat has changed from six months (March and September) to three months (March, June, September, and December).
