ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK HALUS TERHADAP HASIL KARYA KOLASE KAIN PERCA DIKELAS IV SD NEGERI KAUMAN BLORA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya kendala yang dialami siswa dalam kegiatan membuat pola gambar, menggunting, dan menempel, yang mengindikasikan lemahnya kemampuan motorik halus. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya aktivitas pembelajaran yang secara eksplisit melatih motorik halus siswa di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Kualitatif, karena peneliti mengamati, menganalisis, dan menafsirkan suatu objek yang akan diteliti guna menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi yang digunakan untuk menguji kredibilitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kualitas karya kolase siswa. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan koordinasi tangan-mata yang baik, ketelitian saat menggunting, serta kekuatan jari dalam menempel kain, cenderung menghasilkan karya yang lebih rapi, presisi, dan bernilai estetis tinggi. Sebaliknya, keterbatasan dalam aspek-aspek motorik halus tersebut berdampak pada hasil karya yang kurang maksimal, seperti pola yang tidak presisi, potongan kain yang kasar, serta penempelan yang kurang rapi. Kemampuan motorik halus terbukti memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kualitas hasil karya kolase kain perca siswa. Oleh karena itu, kolase kain perca dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan aspek motorik halus sekaligus meningkatkan kreativitas dan kepercayaan diri siswa.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the discovery of difficulties experienced by students in creating patterns, cutting, and pasting, which indicated weak fine motor skills. This was caused by a lack of learning activities that explicitly trained students' fine motor skills in the classroom. This study uses qualitative research, as the researcher observes, analyses, and interprets the object of study using methods such as interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity is tested using triangulation techniques to assess the credibility of the data. The results of the study indicate that fine motor skills significantly contribute to the quality of students' collage works. Students with good hand-eye coordination, precision when cutting and finger strength when attaching fabric tend to produce neater, more precise, and aesthetically pleasing works. Conversely, limitations in these fine motor skills aspects result in less optimal outcomes, such as imprecise patterns, rough fabric cuts, and uneven attachments. Fine motor skills have been proven to significantly contribute to the quality of students' fabric collage works. Therefore, fabric collage can be utilised as an effective learning medium to develop fine motor skills while enhancing students' creativity and self-confidence., and finger strength when attaching fabric tend to produce neater, more precise, and aesthetically pleasing works. Conversely, limitations in these fine motor skills aspects result in less optimal outcomes, such as imprecise patterns, rough fabric cuts, and uneven attachments. Fine motor skills have been proven to significantly contribute to the quality of students' fabric collage works. Therefore, fabric collage can be utilised as an effective learning medium to develop fine motor skills while enhancing students' creativity and self-confidence.
