Analisis Profil Kemandirian Belajar Matematika Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika Menggunakan Algoritma K-Means Clustering

Abstract


Tingkat ketergantungan mahasiswa terhadap dosen dalam pembelajaran matematika menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar mahasiswa masih rendah dan berdampak pada hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengelompokkan mahasiswa berdasarkan tingkat kemandirian belajar matematika serta mendeskripsikan karakteristik tiap kelompok. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif eksploratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan algoritma k-means clustering serta statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 18.80% mahasiswa berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase indikator tanggung jawab 78.66%, disiplin 54.75%, kontrol diri 80.31%, inisiatif 56.15%, motivasi 73.00%, dan kepercayaan diri 67.29%. Sebanyak 53.85% mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase indikator tanggung jawab 87.89%, disiplin 63.94%, kontrol diri 86.30%, inisiatif 69.95%, motivasi 86.03%, dan kepercayaan diri 81.80%. Selanjutnya, 27.35% mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase indikator tanggung jawab 97.27%, disiplin 82.55%, kontrol diri 97.42%, inisiatif 87.27%, motivasi 97.45%, dan kepercayaan diri 95.00%. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemandirian belajar matematika mahasiswa didominasi oleh kategori sedang. Mahasiswa dengan kategori kemandirian belajar tinggi memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik pada indikator tanggung jawab, kontrol diri, motivasi, dan kepercayaan diri, Sementara pada kategori sedang dan rendah, indikator kedisiplinan, inisiatif, dan kepercayaan diri menjadi aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan
